Food safety supervisor training
The new Food Amendment (Food Safety Supervisor) Act 2009 requires proprietors of food businesses in the NSW hospitality and retail food service sector to appoint a Food Safety Supervisor (FSS).
Under the Act, Food Safety Supervisors (FSS) must hold a food safety supervisor certificate and have the authority to supervise the relevant food handling activities and ensure that the handling is done safely.
